In honour of my upcoming posts for the Kidspot Baby Club – I thought I’d share a baby photo.
This is two years ago. It’s funny how time is. In some ways it seems like it was yesterday. In other ways it feels like it’s been a lot longer than two years. Probably something to do with how quickly they change.
I used to scoff at people who took heaps of photos. Yes, me, the compulsive photographer. I said that if you had to take a photo to remember it then it wasn’t worth immortalising in film. Clearly this was before Riley was born. Before pregnancy brain, before baby brain, before toddler brain, a whole other life ago. Before, a photo was just a memory. Now a photo is a moment. The moment my heart melted, or broke, or swelled with pride.
