The Real Toddler

by Zoey @ Good Googs on April 13, 2010

The real toddler has shown up. Not the baby, not the almost toddler. But the real toddler.

Complete with commands, ‘walk’, ‘get up’, ‘get down’, ‘tea’, ‘more’, ‘do my bidding, minion!’. There was also tantrums, proper ones, including head banging. I didn’t care for the head banging part.

But I did care for the chatterbox part. That’s pretty awesome. And I was also very keen on how her fitted top showed off her fine little belly. I’m all into little people bellies.

I’m all about a little belly too. Love them. Toddlers are fabulous. Right before and right after the tantrum. The tantrums? Not so fabulous.

Toddlers are adorable, especially with their Donald Duck-eque nappy clad tail as they stomp out of the room when you have said “no!” again.

When I say “jump”, you say “how high?”! Love it. It’s too bad they don’t get sarcasm yet, because there are so many jokes to be made :-)

Toddlers are the best. Love the way they think, talk, imagine, love. Hope this phase lasts a long, long time (tantrums, not so much).
