I promised Josh faithfully that I would put Riley in a Parramatta jersey today because we are both incredibly superstitious about her ability to influence NRL games. Truth be told we also have not decided whether she will be an Eels fan (Josh’s Team) or a Knights fan (my team) but I think in part that’s because deep down we both know that in the long run it won’t be up to us anyway.
I maintain that Newcastle can only win if she is asleep. It’s ludicrous I know – and it sounds alot more ludicrous when you actually type it. But if she wakes up while the game is on they lose. I don’t make the rules.
But the Knights are out of the finals so today she was senior mojo maker for the Eels. Going by the half time score, it looks like her mojo is working. (It’s sport – if you don’t have your superstitions, you don’t have anything!)
