Returning Home

by Zoey @ Good Googs on March 14, 2010

I am so relieved that goodgoog.com is back up and running. What a crazy few days.

Where I had to learn far more than I ever wanted to know about nameservers, sql databases, wordpress installations, php and blah blah freaking blah. Needless to say I will be backing up religiously from now on, just in case. It took a few all-nighters to recover a lot of the content as it was.

And now everything should be back to normal. Hi blog! How I’ve missed you. (I apologise to all my RSS subscribers who have probably been flooded with duplicate posts as I’ve moved the feed address around – sorry! Outside my realm of control.)

And my former host? Blocking me out with no warning and no access to any of the back end. Totally not cool. If I could sue for pain and suffering I would. But on the upside, the support staff were surprisingly helpful with organising the migration. I’ve crossed over into Polyanna-dom.

For now, I’m just going to bask in the glory of this return to normality.

Looks good! I wouldn’t even notice that you changed hosts had you not told us!
