Don't Walk, Run

by Zoey @ Good Googs on March 28, 2010

Toddlers don’t learn to walk.

They learn to pull themselves up. And once they can put one foot in front of the other. They run.

And they’re surprisingly fast and slippery.

So, that’s one good thing about my grandfather’s nursing home. The outside is securely fenced. So she can run around to her hearts content.

Hello, telephoto lense. I was relaxing in a chair.

Something in the last week or so has changed. Her face has matured. It’s amazing to watch! She’s truly stunning.

I know! It’s unbelievable how they just seem to tick over into a different phase just before birthdays.

Watching Riley grow and change makes it all the more exciting to guess what Alexa will do in the coming year. I love having a friend with a babe a year ahead…it’s like a sneak preview :-)
