The smiling baby is giggling. I could listen to it all day. I might squeal sometimes when I hear it. And even the fact that I have been unsuccessful in getting said giggle on video or one of her bigger smiles on camera doesn’t take anything away from the awesomeness of the giggling.

I read somewhere that for parents, baby smiles and laughter, are more addictive than heroin. I definitely believe it.

I’m running low on bad habits. I used to drink too much and smoke way too much. Good times. I’m one of those people who fancies they’ll pick up smoking again when they’re about 70. Yes. I am THAT addicted. Which is exactly why I can’t sneak even one cigarette. Pity. But I digress. I’m running low on bad habits. Is procrastinating a bad habit? I hope not, because I’m really good at it, and I enjoy it a whole lot.

Most of my bad habits now are restricted to the neurotic behaviour variety. Like picking my lips. I do it more when I’m nervous but even when I’m not.

I have a very convincing facade of a confident person. And the only crack in it is that lip picking. But what do I care, it’s just a facade anyway.
