No Lunch For You!

My early riser was too sleepy to even attempt the pasta at lunch. Weirdly the cat ate a good portion of it later. Maybe someone should tell her she’s supposed to be a carnivore.

The Reach

I was watching Julie & Julia tonight. A rare treat to watch a movie, alone and undisturbed. Which makes me sound like a social recluse, which I’m not. But I do love to get completely lost, every now and again. To be completely immersed in something. It got me thinking about writing and the beginning. [...]

The Hugger

Riley is definitely feeling more herself again. Slept through last night – ah sweet slumber how I’ve missed you. Today was Mothers’ Group. Her sharing skills take a nose-dive when we’re at home and it’s all of HER stuff that requires sharing. I have three rocker-type toys: The snail, the wooden rocker and a bouncing [...]

Christmas Reveal

It’s been awhile coming, but here is the video of the munchkin seeing all her presents outside for the first time (trampoline, cubby house and climbing equipment – and yes both Josh and I and various relatives did go a bit nuts this year)

Throwing Ginger

Every now and then her hair throws a little ginger. I’d be all into her being a redhead, but sadly I think as she gets older her hair will get darker and you won’t really be able to see it anymore.
